RIP Chance

Chance came to us from Greenville, SC back in June.  When we first saw him, his name was Nappy and he was in very bad shape.  We immediately knew we wanted to help him and try to give him a good life.  Laurie, in Texas, drove 16 hours to go pick him up and take him to his new foster home in Houston, Texas.

Chance was seen by multiple veterinarians and specialists who all worked very hard to help him get healthy.  He had very good days when we thought he was going to pull through, his skin started to clear up and he felt better.  Those days were very few and far between.  Chance’s quality of life was not a good one at all.  He rarely wanted to come out of his crate and when he would he would run right back in.
